We are excited to announce that our organisation has been awarded a brand-new Support at Home Services contract, commencing April next year. As we prepare to launch this service, we are seeking a
dedicated, experienced and proactive Registered Manager
to join us as a key partner in the development of this new venture.
This role is a unique
partnership opportunity
, ideal for an established Registered Manager who is passionate about service growth, compliance excellence and delivering outstanding person-centred care in the community.
The successful candidate will be registered (or willing to register) with
Care Quality Commission (CQC)
and
Care Inspectorate
.
All costs associated will be fully covered by the company.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the start-up and ongoing operational management of the Support at Home service.
Recruit, mentor and develop a skilled care team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements including safeguarding, CQC and Care Inspectorate standards.
Implement and maintain robust policies, auditing processes and quality assurance frameworks.
Oversee the creation, review and maintenance of individualised care/support plans.
Manage staff rotas and ensure appropriate skill mix and staffing levels at all times.
Maintain detailed and accurate records covering care delivery, staffing, incidents, and service user communication.
Build strong working relationships with families, healthcare teams, local authorities and other key stakeholders.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Registered Manager or in a senior social care leadership role.
Relevant qualification such as:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
SVQ Level 4 in Social Services and Healthcare (or equivalent)
RGN / RMN or other relevant nursing registration (desirable)
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
Experience in managing people, service operations and budgeting.
Comprehensive understanding of:
CQC regulatory frameworks
Safeguarding practices
Health & safety requirements
Quality assurance in social care settings
Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care at every level.
