As a

Registered Manager

, you will have overall responsibility for the safe, effective, and compliant delivery of regulated care services across children's community support and adult supported living services. You will lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams, uphold the highest standards of quality and safeguarding, and ensure every individual receives personalised, outcome-focused support they can trust.

This is a senior leadership role with real influence shaping services, strengthening partnerships, supporting organisational growth, and ensuring excellence across all areas of delivery.

Key Responsibilities



Leadership & Service Delivery



Provide strong, values-led leadership across services supporting

children, young people, and adults

in the community and supported living settings. Create and maintain a high-performing, inclusive, and compassionate team culture where staff feel supported, developed, and motivated to excel. Ensure every individual receives safe, high-quality, person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, and positive outcomes. Oversee care delivery across a range of models, including community outreach, short breaks, respite, and supported living for young adults.

Quality, Safeguarding & Compliance



Hold overall responsibility for regulatory compliance, ensuring services consistently meet all relevant

CQC and/or Ofsted requirements

, Fundamental Standards, and safeguarding legislation. Act as the Registered Manager with the regulator, leading inspections, submitting statutory notifications, and driving continuous improvement. Ensure robust safeguarding practices are embedded across children's and adult services, including effective risk management and incident oversight. Promote a strong "right first time" culture, addressing issues promptly and implementing learning from audits, feedback, and reviews.

Stakeholder & Partnership Working



Build and maintain effective working relationships with

local authorities, social workers, commissioners, healthcare professionals, GPs, schools, and partner agencies

. Represent Wonderful Care Services Ltd professionally within the community, strengthening the organisation's reputation and supporting service growth. Contribute to referrals, assessments, service development, and transition planning (including children transitioning into young adult services).

Operational & Financial Management



Work closely with the Operations Manager and senior leadership team to deliver safe, efficient, and financially sustainable services. Monitor performance against KPIs, quality indicators, and budgets, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and outcomes. Oversee staffing structures, rota effectiveness, recruitment, supervision, and professional development. Use data, systems, and technology to inform decision-making and support continuous service improvement.

Organisational Leadership



Collaborate with internal teams across Operations, People, Quality, Finance, and Marketing to deliver consistent, high-quality services. Share best practice and contribute to embedding a culture of excellence, learning, and accountability across the organisation. Support organisational growth by contributing to service expansion, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Bring



Essential



A genuine passion for supporting

children, young people, adults, and families

to live fulfilling lives. Proven experience leading and developing teams within health, social care, or a related sector. Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire, motivate, and hold teams to high standards. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence working alongside professionals, commissioners, and families. Strong organisational and planning skills, with the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Sound understanding of safeguarding, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Confidence using data, digital systems, and performance metrics to drive informed decision-making. A flexible, adaptable approach with a strong commitment to delivering meaningful outcomes.

Desirable



Previous management experience within children's services, adult social care, supported living, or community care. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it). Knowledge and experience of

CQC, Ofsted, or CIW

regulatory frameworks. Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, or complex care requirements. Experience managing multi-service or multi-site care provision.
