Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home (Reading)

The Role

This is a brilliant opportunity for a confident, motivated professional who can:

Lead a small team with clarity, compassion and confidence Maintain a safe, nurturing and high-quality environment Champion safeguarding and regulatory standards Work effectively with Ofsted and external professionals Bring fresh ideas and take ownership of the home's development Step in and make an immediate impact
You'll have a high level of autonomy, backed by senior leadership who trust you, support you and encourage your professional creativity.

What We're Looking For

You'll thrive here if you bring:

Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People (required) Level 5 Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare (preferred or willingness to work towards) Experience in children's residential care Strong leadership and team development skills A proactive, steady and resilient approach Excellent safeguarding knowledge Confidence in leading the home through inspections and ongoing quality assurance A passion for building a home where young people genuinely flourish
