Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our care facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home care and senior care, with a focus on providing high-quality support to our residents. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that care plans are effectively implemented, medication administration is conducted safely, and that our team of caregivers is supervised and supported in their roles.

Duties

Manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to the needs of each resident. Supervise and support nursing staff and caregivers to ensure high standards of care are maintained. Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and adjust care plans accordingly. Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and compliance with legal requirements. Foster a positive environment for both residents and staff through effective communication and leadership. Maintain accurate records of care provided, incidents, and staff performance. Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care.

Qualifications

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Social Care Proven experience in home care or assisted living settings is essential. Strong understanding of care plans, medication administration, and senior care practices. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively. Relevant qualifications in health or social care management are desirable. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. A compassionate approach towards caring for the elderly and vulnerable individuals.
