If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you. We are looking for a Registered Manager to join our warm and welcoming team here at Ashfield Care Home, in Skipton North Yorkshire.



Ashfield is part of the Health and Adult Services delivered by North Yorkshire Council and is an exciting and friendly place of work, committed to delivering services to its local community. Weare proud of our successful track record as a leading care service provider. We offer short term residential support, Intermediate Care, longer term residential and respite care at our service with capacity to support 29 service users.


Summary of Responsibilities




Leadership and Compliance:

Lead care and support services to ensure they are safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led. Maintain compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and North Yorkshire Council (NYC) policies.


Service Improvement

: Drive continuous improvement and maintain accreditation through proactive change management.


Resource Management:

Plan and allocate resources efficiently to meet changing needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness.


Person-Centred Care

: Ensure services are tailored to individual needs and outcomes, with staff working in line with care and service plans.


Collaboration

: Work closely with service users, carers, health professionals, and assessment teams to deliver the best outcomes.


Team Leadership

: Manage and support senior care and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.


Strategic Contribution

: Support the broader goals of integrated working across health and adult services to improve outcomes for vulnerable adults in North Yorkshire.



All managers require registration with Care Quality Commission (CQC) and an enhanced DBS check.
