Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home (Slough)

55,000-75,000 + performance bonus

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the full leadership, operational management and delivery of a high-quality Ofsted-registered service. You will:

Lead and develop a new staff team, creating a positive, stable and nurturing environment. Ensure full compliance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards. Oversee all aspects of care planning, safeguarding, risk management and placement stability. Drive continuous improvement, ensuring the home is inspection-ready at all times. Build strong working relationships with local authorities, partner agencies and the local community. Manage budgets, staffing, rotas and resources to deliver a consistent, child-centred service. Promote a therapeutic and relational approach that supports young people to achieve positive outcomes.

About You

You will bring:

Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within children's residential care. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete). Strong knowledge of Ofsted expectations, safeguarding processes and regulatory requirements. The ability to build, inspire and retain a high-performing staff team. Emotional resilience, professional curiosity and a passion for improving children's lives. A full UK driving licence and flexibility to support the home as required.
