Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager with an active UK NMC pin number, to work together with the current registered manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursing home. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a team of care professionals. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while demonstrating strong leadership and management skills.

Duties



Lead and supervise the care team, ensuring all staff deliver compassionate and person-centred care. Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans tailored to residents' needs, including those requiring dementia and Alzheimer's care. Oversee medication administration in accordance with legal and organisational policies. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and CQC standards. Monitor the quality of care provided, conducting audits and assessments regularly. Manage staffing rotas, recruitment, training programmes, and staff development initiatives. Liaise with residents' families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate effective care delivery. Maintain accurate documentation and records related to resident care and organisational procedures. Promote a positive organisational culture centred on dignity, respect, and independence for residents.

Requirements



Proven experience in a nursing home environments, with a strong background in senior care. Active UK NMC Pin number Previous management or supervising experience within a care home or nursing home setting. Knowledge of care planning processes, medication administration, and regulatory compliance (including CQC standards). Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting. Compassionate approach with a genuine commitment to enhancing residents' quality of life. Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent are desirable. Pay: 41,000.00-45,000.00 per year
