Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our Residential Children's residential home.

We are looking for someone with a passion for enhancing the quality of life for the children in our care; leaders that can support and grow their team to achieve the best outcomes possible.

As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with OFSTED regulatory standards, managing staff, and developing care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of our residents.

Responsibilities



Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring high standards of care are maintained. Supervise and support staff, fostering a positive working environment that encourages professional development. Develop, implement, and review individual care plans in collaboration with residents and their families. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements within the home care sector. Oversee medication administration (where required)processes to ensure safety and accuracy. Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and external agencies to promote a holistic approach to care. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement within the service. Manage budgets effectively while ensuring resources are used efficiently to provide quality care.

Experience



Proven experience in a leadership role within the Residential Children's care sector is essential. Strong knowledge of residential childcare and management within a regulated framework Experience in supervising staff and managing teams effectively. Familiarity with residential children's care home regulations and compliance standards. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with residents, families, and staff alike.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 45,000.00-55,000.00 per year
