Job Description

We are a small family run nursing home with an excellent reputation in the local community.

We are looking for a registered nurse to work between 2 and 3 nights per week and help cover annual leave when required. the shifts run from 7pm until 7am with an hour unpaid break.

We do however offer a robust support network for you with the home manager available to support as and when required and management residing exceptionally close to the home.

We offer good flexibility and a pleasant working environment with an excellent local reputation amongst families and friends with loved ones living at the home.

We have a wonderful core of long standing staff that we wish to build upon and so are looking for a new night nurse who is driven by patient care and best practice.

You will require an active pin number registered with the NMC, unfortunately we can not accept people that require sponsorship for work or relocation.

Duties include but are not exhaustive:

- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
- Collaborate and communicate with the care team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and reports
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and care team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and medication administration
