+ Shift pattern of Week 1 and 3: Sunday, Week 2 and 4: Wednesday and Sunday
+ 23.32 per hour

The Brendoncare Foundation are delighted to be looking for a Nurse to join our team at our new 60 bed care home.

Brendoncare St Giles View

is a new development in our home city of Winchester, which provides 60 purpose built en-suite residential, nursing and dementia bedrooms, as well as a cafe/restaurant, hair and beauty salon and community spaces. This home has landscaped gardens and enjoys stunning views of the South Downs.

Who are you?

We are seeking an experienced nurse who share our passion for excellent dementia care and can demonstrate professionalism and energy in the home.



We are looking for somebody who:



Has a valid NMC PIN Has previous experience of working with the elderly / dementia Is conversant with the NMC Code Is a competent computer user Is a good communicator, written and verbally Has previous experience of leading a small team of care staff

What will I be doing?

Your key responsibilities as a RGN with us will include, but are not limited to:



Acting as the Named Nurse for a group of residents Updating and contributing to care plans Organising and supervising the work of the Care Team Assisting in the induction and orientation of new members of the Care Team Acting as a mentor and undertake teaching of carers and students
