We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated female complex care/ ITU experienced Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team working both days and nights initially on a 6 month temporary basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to client care and demonstrate exceptional clinical skills. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services, ensuring the well-being of our client who has a spinal injury. Please note that this role is working in the clients home within an all female team on a 2;1 basis.
It is crucial that applicants have experience in caring for clients with a spinal cord injury and well experienced in tracheostomy and ventilation care.
Responsibilities
Deliver patient care with compassion and professionalism, ensuring the comfort and safety of the client at all times.
Administer medications as prescribed, monitoring patients for any adverse reactions or side effects.
Providing tracheostomy and ventilation care.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
Support the client with social activities.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance and develop the teams skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
Valid registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Proven experience in complex care/ITU.
Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and anatomy.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with client and team.
A caring attitude towards patients, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality healthcare services.
