Lead by example, providing expert guidance and mentorship to the care team.
Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with best practices, policies, and current legislation.
Support and nurture new team members through effective induction and mentoring.
Ensure every resident receives personalised care, tailored to their individual needs.
Maintain your professional development with ongoing training and learning opportunities.
Supervise daily care delivery to ensure high standards are consistently met.
Deliver and monitor person-centred care plans, ensuring accurate assessments and evaluations.
Communicate effectively during handovers to maintain continuity of care.
Uphold the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, maintaining active registration.
Supervise and manage the care team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Perform clinical tasks such as medication administration, wound care, catheterisation, tube feeding, and chronic condition management.
Build strong, respectful relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Proactively manage your workload to prioritise resident wellbeing.
Adhere to safe working practices, including moving and handling residents, and conduct risk assessments.
Stay compliant with health and safety regulations, including COSHH and fire safety procedures.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
A positive team player who supports and encourages colleagues.
Strong relationship-building abilities with residents, families, and professionals.
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and information governance.
Willingness to participate actively in meetings and training sessions.
What qualifications are required?
Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration.
