We are looking for a Registered Nurse (0-hour bank contract) to join one of our existing teams of amazing nurses and carer's at St Faiths Nursing home based in Cheltenham.

Lilian Faithfull Care is a well-established charity based in Gloucestershire that provides care, support and a home for Life for the elderly.

The successful applicant will work with the care team, supporting and leading the team whilst on shift, reporting to the Home Manager. With proven leadership skills, and a strong understanding of dementia and legislative framework surrounding care of older People.

Applicants need to have a current active UK nurse's pin.

Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse:

Assist the Clinical Lead / Deputy Manager in the operational aspects of running the Home and in the provision and delivery of day to day care

Providing the highest standards of quality care and dignity in accordance with the Charity's policies, and CQC whilst meeting our resident's needs.

Assisting with mobility, personal hygiene, dressing and feeding ensuring dignity and respect for the resident at all times Helping and encouraging residents to undertake these tasks for themselves as appropriate.

Requirements

A caring individual who is compassionate about providing care and support to elderly. A genuine interest in working within a caring environment, to help people retain their dignity and respect their privacy. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Works well in a team.
