Job description

The Registered Nurse will be expected to supervise, support a team of Care staff to enable the delivery of quality care in line with the client's individual care plans.

Work within a team in a care home environment for the elderly

Comply with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct at all times

Act as a Nurse in charge and lead the staff team and delegate work effectively to junior staff

Ensure that all residents have full risk assessments and person centred care plans in place and that these are regularly reviewed and updated.

Carry out Nursing duties and associated with the role including wound dressings, continence/catheter care, nutrition and hydration.

Take responsibility for medication administration and control

Promote resident independence and respect their dignity and choices

Job Types: 12.5hrs per week

Salary: 20.00-21.00 per hour

12.5 hour shift As rota Day Shift Some weekends
