We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and be committed to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for patients across various settings, including acute care, long-term care.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical findings.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to changes in their condition.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care standards.
Stay current with advancements in nursing practices, including familiarity with digital care planning.
Qualifications
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with NMC.
Experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or acute care settings preferred.
Familiarity with specialized skills such as IV infusion, PEG or catheterization is a plus.
Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and NCQA standards is beneficial.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including those with developmental disabilities or geriatric patients.
Experience in long-term care, hospice & palliative medicine, or behavioral health is advantageous.
Proficiency in performing physical examinations, administering injections, venipuncture, and specimen collection/processing.
