As a Registered Nurse at Bradford Hospice, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team, working towards providing holistic, person-centred, end of life care, including assessing and understanding the care and support needs of patients and those important to them, planning and providing person centred care based on individual needs.
You will research and network across the system to understand the wide range of services available to patients and those important to them and work with other providers, supporting the wider system to improve the experience of dying, death, and bereavement.
You will assume responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based, high quality person-centred nursing care for people living with a terminal illness and those important to them.
What we're looking for:
Registered Nurse on NMC Register
Experience in NHS or other relevant care setting, ideally in palliative care
Ability to work in a complex and stressful environment and demonstrate appropriate coping mechanisms
Be person-centred and compassionate when caring for the person and those important to them
Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate a care management plan that meets the complex needs of the person, and those important to them
Proven understanding the barriers and enablers to good communication and how challenges can be overcome
