About the role:

Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking

female Complex Homecare Nurses

to support a female client who requires ongoing nursing support at home. This role involves caring for a client with a combination of

complex long-term conditions

, including chronic pancreatitis, hypermobility/Ehlers-Danlos features, chronic pain and neurodivergent needs. She has been in hospital for an extended period, and nurses will play a key part in supporting a

safe and well-planned transition home

.

You'll be delivering

person-centred, holistic care

such as complex medication management (including subcutaneous and jejunostomy-administered medications), bowel care, respiratory support and safe mobility. The client benefits from

calm, structured communication

and consistent routines, and you'll be supported by clear protocols to guide practice.

You'll play a vital role in promoting

health, safety and quality of life

within the home environment. Working closely with our Nurse Practitioner team, you'll help ensure her care plan is followed smoothly and contribute to a stable, supportive model of care that encourages confidence, independence and overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, individualised nursing care in the home environment. Manage and administer complex medication regimens safely and accurately. Provide skilled support for an individual with autism, using a calm, consistent, and person-centred approach. Monitor and respond to changes in the client's condition, maintaining accurate care records. Work collaboratively with the clinical team, family, and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for the client. Liaise with the clinical team and family to ensure comprehensive care.

Day Shift:

8 a.m. - 8 p.m. (approx.

33.84/hr weekdays

40.60/hr weekends

).

Night Shift:

8 p.m. - 8 a.m. (approx.

40.60/hr weekdays and weekends

). Bank holiday pay at 150% and Christmas pay at 200%

Location:

BN41 Brighton

Travel Reimbursement:

In addition to your hourly rate,

travel expenses

are reimbursed at 25 pence per mile for distances up to 200 miles, and 30 pence per mile for longer journeys once an expense form is submitted and processed. To ensure long travel distances do not lead to fatigue, there is a reimbursement cap of

40 per shift

for travel, helping to make the role even more rewarding.
