skilled and experience Registered Nurse

to join our

Cardiac Cath Lab

team in

Maidstone

. With the expansion of our services, we've opened a second

Cardiac Cath Lab

Key Responsibilities:





As a

Registered Nurse

in the Cardiac Cath Lab, you'll be responsible for managing a busy caseload and providing high-quality care to patients throughout their entire pathway at KIMS Hospital. Your role will involve:


Pre-operative assessment

and

recovery nursing

for patients undergoing cardiac procedures.

Scrubbing for cardiac procedures

including catheterisation, pacing, and ICD fitting. Ensuring the patient experience remains at the heart of everything we do, implementing best practices in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Performing

day-to-day duties

including taking bloods, cannulation, performing angiograms, and monitoring patients. Working as part of a dedicated team of professionals to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered at all times.

Person Specification:




Essential:




Qualified Adult Nurse with current NMC registration. Experience in a

Cath Lab

,

CCU

, or

Acute Medicine

setting. Fully trained in

resuscitation

and able to handle emergencies effectively. Experience in

cannulation

,

venepuncture

, and

ECG's.



Desirable:




Post-registration training in

Cardiology.

Knowledge of

current nursing and clinical developments.
