Shift Pattern: Full-Time, Day Shifts (33 hours per week)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our clinical team at our nursing home in Crook. This is a key Staff Nurse role for a qualified Adult Nurse with a valid NMC PIN and a passion for delivering outstanding elderly care.

As a RGN in our care home, you will be a senior member of the team, taking charge of day shifts and working autonomously to provide high-quality clinical care. If you are a reliable Registered Nurse with at least three years of nursing home experience, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding, person-centred nursing care to our elderly residents, ensuring their well-being and dignity.
Confidently and safely lead and manage all medication rounds*, ensuring full compliance and accurate documentation.

Take shift chargeduring day shifts, providing clinical leadership and supervision to the care team.
Work autonomously and proactively without direct supervision, using your initiative and clinical judgement.
Work closely with the Deputy Managerto assess, plan, and evaluate care, ensuring seamless care coordination.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain meticulous clinical records in line with NMCstandards.
Supervise and support Student Nurses and junior care staff, promoting best practices in elderly care*.

Qualifications & Experience Required

Valid NMC PIN as a Registered Nurse (RGN)*.

A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a RGN within a UK nursing home or care homeenvironment.
Demonstrable experience in leading and managing medication roundsautonomously.
Proven ability to work without supervision and take shift charge*.

A compassionate nature and a genuine commitment to providing high-quality elderly care*.

Excellent clinical skills and a strong understanding of CQC standards.
