Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to work with the Home Manager and other trained nurses. This role is for Day Shifts only and the hours are negotiable.

You must be committed to providing exceptional patient care, creating a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental needs, while also using your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with established protocols and standards. Administer medications accurately and monitor residents for any adverse reactions. Conduct thorough assessments of resident's health status, including vital signs and medical history. Develop and implement individualised care plans based on resident needs and preferences. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care and improve health outcomes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance nursing skills.

Requirements

Valid registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Proven experience in patient care within a Care Home setting is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to empathise with patients. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in nursing practice.
