Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health status and needs. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor residents' vital signs and report any significant changes. Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options. Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Participate in continuous professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Proven experience in patient care within a nursing home setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to patient advocacy. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the home.
