Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to carehomes in newcastle. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.

As a Registered General Nurse/Mental Health nurse with experience of supporting those with dementia, you will play a crucial role in caring for the people we support and will make a positive impact every single day.

Must be hold a valid NMC pin with min 6 month experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional patient care by assessing individual needs and developing tailored care plans. Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and guidelines. Monitor patients' conditions and vital signs, documenting changes and reporting any concerns to the medical team. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Educate patients and their families on health management, medication usage, and post-discharge care. Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance nursing skills.

Requirements

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practice. Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
