Your Role as Registered Nurse at Richard House

In this influential and rewarding role, you will help shape the highest standard of care by:

Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the company's procedures and NMC guidelines,

Carry out regular checks on residents at intervals determined by the Registered Manager,

Assess social and health care needs of new residents, and maintain on-going assessment and review of all other residents,

Report any ill health amongst clients and make requests for GP / Professional visits where necessary,

Ensure that clients' care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents, relatives and any other Health Care Professionals,

Supervise and instruct junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the care home, giving help and guidance where appropriate,

To build and maintain long standing relationship with residents with a variety of needs,

To understand residents likes/dislikes and needs throughout the day as it can be daunting for them having different procedures carried out.

Registered Nurse, registered with the NMC,

Previous supervisory experience - support will be given to newly qualified staff.

Positions available:

Night shifts 8pm-8am (with a 15-minute handover before each shift).

Richard House work a 3 on 3 off rota, so some weekend working will be required.
