Little Sisters of the Poor, Greenock is an exceptional, modern purpose-built residential nursing home registered for up to 28 older people. We are also a registered charity, forming part of the Little Sisters of the Poor worldwide group with homes in 31 countries all following a similar model of family centred care, with Sisters living within community on site. Our not-for-profit care model means, with your help, we can focus on enabling the vulnerable elderly lead happier healthier lives in a real home setting.
We are looking to add to our team of Nurses so that we can continue to provide a high standard of clinical care and support in a friendly caring atmosphere.

Our nurses are required to provide a high standard of nursing care for our residents in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practice. Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care, supervising care staff and ensuring continuity of care for residents by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating person centred care plans which promote independence, choice, dignity and respect.
We are looking for Dayshift, Nightshift and Bank Nurses
Rate of Pay is:
20.70 per hour with a 1.80 supplement for nightshift
Expected hours: 30 hours per week.
4 days over 7 with a 4 week rolling rota:
Early 0715-1445; Late 1345-2100; Night 2045-0730

This role requires:
You must be a registered General Nurse with up to date NMC registration and evidence of continuing professional development
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Experience nursing in a residential elderly care home environment: 2 years (preferred)
Experience writing Care Plans
Experience dispensing Medication
Familiarisation with care and medication software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent spoken and written English
