Responsibilities

Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, adhering to established protocols and guidelines. Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition. Assist with medical procedures and support doctors and other healthcare professionals during examinations and treatments. Educate patients and their families on health management, medication usage, and post-discharge care instructions. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards. Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients by following infection control procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalised care plans tailored to individual needs.

Experience

Proven experience as a Registered Nurse within a clinical or hospital setting. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care. Demonstrated proficiency in medication administration, including IV therapy where applicable. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure. Compassionate approach with outstanding communication skills to engage with patients, families, and colleagues. Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or equivalent regulatory body is essential.
