Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered IV Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and experience in administering IV Vitamin Infusions. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. A current DBS check and up-to-date training certifications are required. Shifts are between 9:30am to 4pm weekdays and agreed in advance. Additional shifts are available and will be offered. Duties

Administer vitamin and iron infusions and injections, as well as other prescribed IV medications. Must be confident cannulating. Monitor patients during and after infusions, observing for any adverse reactions or side effects. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and current health conditions before treatment. Maintain accurate patient records, including infusion details, vital signs, and any reactions or concerns. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care. Educate patients on the benefits and potential risks of vitamin and iron infusions, as well as aftercare instructions. Ensure infection control and aseptic techniques are maintained at all times. Adhere to protocols for safe storage, preparation, and administration of IV medications.

Experience & Qualifications

Essential:

Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license. Proven experience in administering IV medications, administering vitamins/iron is a plus. A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. Strong knowledge of patient assessment, monitoring, and care. Excellent patient care

Requirements

Mandatory Training certifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members. 2 references will be required
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 18.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 20 per week
