Hospice in Your Home (HIYH) Registered Nurse Lead

Basic annual salary

Further enhancements for weekend and Bank holiday working



36 hours per week worked over four 9-hour shifts

Shifts worked across a 7 day / 3-shift roster. Monday to Sunday (early) 7.00am-4.00pm, (late) 4.00pm-1.00am and (Night) 10.00pm-7.00am


5 weeks holiday pay plus Bank Holidays, Pension Scheme, Staff referral scheme (earn extra pay every time you successfully refer someone), Employee Assistance Programme, including private GP access, National retail/attractions discount scheme, Roadside parking off site, Free DBS check.

We provide a range of palliative care services for people in Nottinghamshire, and we are currently looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced

HIYH Registered Nurse

Lead

to develop our growing Hospice in your Home offer and operationally manage the Care Team.
You must have substantial experience of leading teams preferably gained within a relevant healthcare setting. You will possess operational management experience and leadership skills. Support will be given to the postholder to develop their career ambitions. Essential to this role is an understanding of multi-disciplinary working, within healthcare, experience of managing teams and a passion for hospice care. In addition, you must have excellent communication, planning and networking skills, the ability to prioritise a busy workload and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and clinical systems. Experience of SystmOne is an advantage. Service development and transformation will be key aspects of the role. Flexible working on occasion may be required to meet the needs of patients.

Team provides planned 1:1 care and a roaming service to people in their own homes across Nottinghamshire. The successful postholder will work shifts across the week, including weekend and bank holidays, on a planned rota basis and across the region based on patient need and referral criteria.


You must be a Registered Adult Nurse with post registration experience. You must also possess a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle.
