Job Description

The Woodlands Care Home team is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team straight away. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of anatomy and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are maintained.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health conditions and medical histories. Develop and implement individualised care plans based on patient needs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor Resident's progress and respond to changes in their condition. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety within the clinical environment.

Experience

A valid nursing qualification and registration with the relevant nursing authority. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, essential for effective patient assessment. Proven experience in patient care, demonstrating empathy, patience, and strong communication skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of nursing practice.
