Duties

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition. Educate patients and their families about health management, treatment plans, and medication usage. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and improve patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing.

Requirements

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology related to patient care. Proven experience in medication administration and familiarity with various medical equipment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
