Overview

Amaya Care Homes is a family-run provider of care homes, we understand the importance of nurturing relationships and so all of our care is centred around family values. Duties

The Registered Nurse's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Ensure individuals are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing Undertake the personal plan activities for individuals to meet changing physical, psychological and social needs, taking into consideration privacy, dignity, personal choice and informed consent Ensure personal plans are developed in collaboration with individuals, their families and friends (where appropriate) and members of the multidisciplinary team Undertake all aspects of medicine management in line with legal, professional and regulatory requirements Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported by the service

Requirements

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Ethical. We do things the right way and live by our Charter.
