Hours:
2/3 nights per week and 1 day shift as and when required - plus overtime to cover holidays or sickness. Salary includes paid breaks, meals and drinks whilst on duty.

North Ferriby Nursing Home is registered for 38 residents both Nursing and Residential. We are located in the heart of North Ferriby with easy access to the A63 to Hull, The West Hull Villages and Leeds. We are family owned and run and many of our staff have worked for us for many years and you will be joining an established team of permanent contracted staff.
Responsibilities:
1) Responsible the home and in charge of 2 further night staff, looking after both nursing and residential residents.
2) Expected to maintain on-going nursing records, compose, audit and update care plans and risk assessments.
3) Supervise the care staff.
4) Liaise with the day staff and conduct full handovers at the start and end of each shift.
5) Carry out hands on nursing duties - wound dressing, catheterisations, taking samples, drug administration, peg management etc.
6) Support residents and their families at end of life.
7) Ensure that the homes' policies and procedures are followed and adhere to CQC regulations.
8) Assist with the monthly medication order, carry forward, receipt and auditing.
9) Complete all necessary training.
The home has an EMAR system and a digital care platform - full training can be provided.
