Band 5 Registered nurse, Outpatients 37.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Out Patients Head and Neck Team at CIC. The RGN will undertake mentoring of students and supervision of Band 3 HCA's. Be responsible for the running of the varying speciality clinics in ENT and Oral surgery and assist with the MOS sessions.
The RGN will undertake mentoring of students and supervision of Band 3 HCA's. Be responsible for the running of the ENT/ Oral Surgery speciality clinics. Assist in the MOS sessions, recovery of the sedated patients, correct setting up and closing down of the varying consultant clinics. Correct cleaning and handling of surgical instruments and Scopes as per Trust policy. Knowledge of the surgical trays and identification of instrument's.
Responsible for assisting with the Emergency walk in patients/ Consultant and Nurse Led clinics.
The successful candidate needs to be flexible in working pattern and be adherent to the Trust Policy and procedures at all times.
The Trust will provide a twelve month preceptorship period for all newly registered healthcare professionals.
Healthcare Professionals returning to practice, moving into new roles or changing clinical environments, may access an agreed preceptorship period
