Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

Registered Nurse (RGN)

to join our night team at our nursing home in Plymouth. This is a vital role for a confident

Staff Nurse

with a valid

NMC PIN

and a passion for delivering exceptional

elderly care

.

As a

RGN

in our

care home

, you will take clinical responsibility for our residents during the night, working autonomously and leading the care team with the support of the

Deputy Manager

Key Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding, person-centred nursing care to our elderly residents during night shifts. Confidently and safely conduct

medication rounds

, ensuring full compliance and accurate documentation. Work autonomously and proactively without direct supervision, using your initiative to manage the clinical needs of the home at night. Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes. Supervise and support the night care team, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. Work closely with the

Deputy Manager

and multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless 24-hour care. Maintain clear and accurate clinical records in line with

NMC

standards and guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience Required

Valid NMC PIN

as a

Registered Nurse (RGN)

. A minimum of

3 years of proven experience

as a

RGN

within a UK

nursing home

or

care home

environment. Demonstrable experience in leading and managing

medication rounds

. The ability to work autonomously during night shifts, making sound clinical decisions. A compassionate nature and a genuine commitment to providing high-quality

elderly care

. Excellent clinical skills and a strong understanding of CQC standards.
