Introduction:

Are you an ambitious Registered Nurse looking for fresh energy, new purpose, and the chance to make a real difference? We are recruiting a dedicated Registered Nurse (Days) to join a welcoming and supportive care home team in Pontypridd, delivering high-quality nursing care to residents and peace of mind to their families.

The Role:

This is a day shift position working 33 hours per week, offering a rewarding opportunity to be part of a compassionate and professional nursing and care team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care needs, providing hands-on nursing care when required. Complete and maintain person-centred care plans in collaboration with residents, relatives, and healthcare professionals. Administer medication safely and accurately in line with NMC guidelines and internal policies. Carry out ongoing assessments and reviews of residents' physical, emotional, and social care needs. Supervise, mentor, and support junior and new staff members. Maintain clear and effective communication with residents, families, and the wider multidisciplinary team. Attend mandatory training and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Requirements:

Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration (RGN). Experience within a care home or elderly care setting is desirable. Strong clinical knowledge with a compassionate, resident-first approach. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Right to work in the UK - we are unable to offer sponsorship.
