Healthcare Recruiters are currently seeking a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join a reputable NHS hospital based in Preston, Lancashire, UK.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care, ensuring the well-being of patients, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments. Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care strategies. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Conduct physical examinations and obtain medical histories from patients. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.

Requirements

Valid registration as a nurse with the relevant nursing authority. Proficient in medication administration and patient care practices. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of nursing practice. Previous experience of (minimum 6 months) in a clinical setting is essential
