We are specifically looking for an experienced Staff Nurse who can work autonomously to provide the highest standard of elderly care to our residents. This is a key role for a confident professional who thrives in a clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding, person-centred nursing care to our elderly residents, acting as a named nurse.
Conduct thorough medication rounds, ensuring the safe administration and management of medicines in line with NMCstandards.
Work without supervisionduring night shifts, using your initiative and clinical expertise to manage resident needs and make informed decisions.
Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive individualised care plans.
Supervise and support HealthcareAssistants and other members of the care team.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinicalrecords.
Uphold all policies and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of healthcareand safety.
Essential Requirements:

Valid NMC Pin as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)*.

A minimum of three years' post-qualification experience as a Staff Nurse (RGN or RMN) within a nursing home or care homesetting.
Proven and extensive experience in elderly care*.

Confident and highly competent in leading medication rounds*.

Ability to work without supervisionand demonstrate strong clinical decision-making skills during night shifts.
A genuine passion for working in a care home environment and providing dignified elderly care*.

Desirable Skills:

Experience in mentoring or supporting junior staff.
Strong leadership qualities and the ability to act as a clinical role model.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
