Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) seeking a rewarding role within a supportive care home environment? Our established nursing home in Lanark is looking for a compassionate and skilled RGN or RMN to join our dedicated clinical team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Staff Nurse to play a key role in delivering high-quality elderly care. We are looking for a confident professional who can work autonomously and as part of our team on a flexible shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding, person-centred nursing care to our elderly residents, acting as a named nurse.
Conduct thorough medication rounds, ensuring the safe administration and management of medicines in line with NMCstandards.
Work without supervision*, using your initiative and clinical expertise to manage resident needs during shifts.

Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive individualised care plans.
Supervise and support HealthcareAssistants and other members of the care team.
Work in partnership with the Deputy Manager and Clinical Leadto ensure the highest standards of care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinicalrecords.
Uphold all policies and procedures, including infection control and health and safety protocols.
Essential Requirements:

Valid NMC Pin as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)*.

A minimum of three years' post-qualification experience as a Staff Nurse (RGN or RMN) within a nursing home or care homesetting.
Proven experience in elderly care*.

Confident and competent in leading medication rounds*.

Ability to work without supervisionand demonstrate strong clinical decision-making skills.
A genuine passion for working in a care home environment and providing dignified elderly care*.

Desirable Skills:

Experience in mentoring or supporting junior staff.
Strong leadership qualities and the ability to act as a clinical role model.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
