Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse or RNLD to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. This role requires a thorough understanding of anatomy and a passion for supporting patients in their recovery journey.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs. Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients' progress and respond to changes in their condition promptly. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as either an RMN or RNLD. Proven UK experience in patient care within a mental health setting is essential. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for success in this role. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the healthcare facility.

Pay: 19.00-24.00 per hour
