About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered General Nurse (RGN) to provide exceptional nursing care within a care home environment. You will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our residents by delivering high-quality nursing services tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver safe and effective nursing care to residents in line with current best practices and care standards. Monitor, assess, and document residents' health conditions and respond promptly to changes. Administer medication and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, residents, and families to develop and review care plans. Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with regulatory requirements. Promote a safe and supportive environment that encourages dignity and respect. Support and mentor junior staff and care assistants as required. Participate in training, audits, and meetings to ensure continuous improvement in care delivery.

Requirements:

Current registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Up-to-date DBS check registered on the DBS Update Service (this is mandatory). Experience working within a care home or similar healthcare setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
