Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team.

Due to increased occupancy, we now require 2 nurses on shift.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of patients while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and needs. Develop and implement individualised care plans based on patient assessments. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients' progress and respond to changes in their condition. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients.

Skills

Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices. Proficient understanding of human anatomy and physiology. Experience in medication administration and monitoring for side effects. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and colleagues. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient management. Empathy and compassion for patients, demonstrating a commitment to their comfort and well-being.
