Hill House, rated "Good" by CQC, is a 24-bed nursing care home supporting adults with complex physical and learning disabilities. Our dedicated team helps empower residents to live as independently as possible.

Your working hours

Day shifts: 07:30 - 20:00 (30-minute unpaid break) Night shifts: 19:30 - 08:00

From 1 December 2025, enhancement rates of 1.00 per hour will apply to night working (8pm Monday - 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday - 7am Monday). (This does not apply to sleep-ins.)

About the role

As a Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire, you will provide the highest standards of nursing, clinical, and personal support, guided by residents' Person-Centred Plans. Key responsibilities include:

Leading and managing a team of support staff effectively during your shift Administering and ordering medication safely, and maintaining accurate records Supporting residents with personal care, physical care, and daily tasks Conducting ongoing health assessments and observing changes in well-being Ensuring compliance with NMC guidelines and internal procedures Prioritising and delegating tasks to meet residents' needs in a safe, caring environment

Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse Up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice (level 5) Understanding of the NMC Code of Conduct and relevant practice standards Effective nursing practice across all basic procedures Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required
