We are a small, family-run nursing home in Seaford, rated 'Good' by the CQC, with up to 47 residents. We provide high-quality, person-centred care in a warm and supportive environment. Many of our team have been with us for 10-20+ years, reflecting the way we value and support our staff. Our owner and management team are approachable, hands-on, and genuinely supportive.
We are currently recruiting a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our close-knit team. We have a mix of available hours including full-time, part-time, and bank positions (for the right person). Day and night shifts are available, and candidates should be able to work flexibly across both to meet the needs of the service. There is also a genuine opportunity to grow and progress with the business.
Responsibilities
Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in line with NMC standards and home policies
Carry out assessments and develop, review, and update individual care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with best practice
Monitor residents' health and respond promptly to changes in condition
Escalate concerns appropriately to senior staff and healthcare professionals
Work collaboratively with care staff, nurses, and visiting professionals
Support and mentor care staff to maintain excellent standards of care
Build positive relationships with residents and their families
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records
What we're looking for
Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
Genuine passion for caring for older people
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Calm and professional approach under pressure
Supportive attitude towards colleagues
Flexibility to work across day and night shifts as required
