Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the well-being of patients through effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. This position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services while adhering to the highest standards of practice.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
Develop and implement individualised care plans based on patient assessments.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Monitor patients' conditions, documenting changes and reporting any concerns to the medical team.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment plans.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
Uphold infection control measures and promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
Skills
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to inform patient assessments and care strategies.
Proficient in medication administration, including understanding pharmacology and potential side effects.
Good knowledge of catheter care, PEG & syringe drivers is very desirable.
Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and effective communication with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of nursing practice.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within a fast-paced environment.
