Overview

We are currently seeking a confident, dynamic Nurse who will work across two sites in Tunstall and Biddulph and be willing to work days or nights

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team caring for those with Dementia. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting patients through their daily routines, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal health outcomes. This position requires a strong understanding of Dementia and a commitment to delivering exceptional person centred patient care.

Duties

Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history. Develop and implement individualised, person centred care plans based on patient needs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards within the healthcare setting.

Skills

Strong knowledge of Dementia and general nursing. Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and compassion. Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and care delivery. Proficient in using medical equipment and technology relevant to nursing practice.
