We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the well-being of patients, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective treatment plans. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, medication administration, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
Assess and monitor patients' health status, documenting any changes in condition.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety guidelines.
Educate patients and their families on health management, medication usage, and post-treatment care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
Participate in continuous professional development and training to enhance nursing skills.
Skills
Strong knowledge of patient care practices and principles.
Previous Nursing home experience is desirable.
In-depth understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
Proficient in medication administration techniques and protocols.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Experience caring for those with challenging behavior, complex nursing care and dementia is advantageous.
PEG, blood taking, Tracheostomy care, Phlebotomy, Stoma Care, Catheter Care and medication skills are all highly desirable skills to have but training will be given.
Experience in end of life care is desirable.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
