We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and providing high-quality nursing care in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. Your expertise will contribute to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall healthcare experience.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and responses to interventions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
Perform procedures such as IV insertion, suturing, catheterization, and phlebotomy.
Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for accurate documentation of patient information.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards.
Experience
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
Critical care experience or ICU experience
Emergency medicine or trauma medicine
Long-term care or assisted living environments
Home care or hospice & palliative medicine
Pediatrics or working with children
Geriatrics or memory care settings
Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks EMR systems
Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) and CPT coding
Experience administering injections and performing diagnostic evaluations
Additional preferred skills include:
Botulinum toxin treatment
Cardiac catheterization experience
Dialysis procedures
Aseptic technique proficiency
Experience with ventilators and airway management
