Days, Nights & Weekends (on rota)

Pay Rate:

18.40 per hour +

20% enhancements

for nights & weekends

We are currently recruiting an experienced and compassionate

Registered Nurse

to join a specialist healthcare service located in West Linton (EH46). The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care within a supportive clinical environment, working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to a high clinical standard Complete risk assessments and contribute to risk management plans Safely administer and manage medications, including detox-related treatments Monitor patients undergoing detoxification and escalate concerns appropriately Maintain accurate clinical documentation and handover notes Support safe admissions and discharges according to policy Supervise and guide junior staff in line with clinical protocols Promote patient safety and comply with Health & Safety procedures Participate in MDT meetings, supervision, and ongoing CPD Take charge of the nursing service in the absence of senior staff

Essential Criteria

Valid NMC Registration (Registered Nurse) Previous experience in a similar nursing role Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills Ability to work independently and within a team Compassionate, patient-centred approach Reliable, responsible, and flexible within a rota system

Preferred Criteria

Experience in substance misuse, addiction, or psychiatric nursing Own vehicle or reliable transport (rural location, limited public transport) Good digital and administrative skills Educated to Degree level
