Duties

Deliver comprehensive patient care, including assessing patient conditions and developing individualised care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patient progress and document changes in their condition, communicating effectively with healthcare team members. Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and medication usage. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support for patients. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in nursing care.

Qualifications

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, as well as medication administration protocols. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to empathise with patients and their families. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning in nursing practice.
