Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated

Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN)

to join our nursing team on night shifts. We welcome applications from RMNs with strong clinical experience who feel confident delivering high-quality care in a nursing home environment.

This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives during nights, enjoys working autonomously, and is committed to ensuring safe and person-centred care for residents.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high standards of nursing care, ensuring residents' physical, emotional, and mental health needs are met. Administer medication safely and accurately, in line with NMC guidelines and home policies. Complete and maintain accurate care documentation, assessments, care plans, and reports. Respond promptly and effectively to clinical emergencies and escalate concerns when necessary. Lead and support care staff during the night shift, offering guidance and clinical oversight. Ensure safeguarding protocols, infection control, and regulatory compliance are followed at all times. Work collaboratively with the day team to ensure smooth handover and continuity of care. Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Qualified Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with valid NMC pin. RMN applicants must have strong general clinical experience. Confident in medication management, clinical assessments, and decision-making. Ability to work independently during night shifts while supporting the care team. Good communication, organisational, and documentation skills. A caring, patient, and professional approach to supporting older adults.
