At St Leonard's Hospice we have a great opportunity for a
full time Registered Nurse
to join our multi-disciplinary team who provide a high standard of skilled, compassionate nursing care and symptom management to patients. You don't have to be a RGN or have palliative care experience - we welcome applications from RMNs and RNLDs from all backgrounds.
This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who would like to extend and develop their palliative and end-of-life care skills. You will have the opportunity to work with highly skilled staff across our In-Patient Unit, working across a full shift rotation pattern (days, nights, weekends and bank holidays).

This position is based on our
Inpatient Unit
and as a Registered Nurse, your main duties will be to:
Work as a member of the Hospice multi-disciplinary team to provide a high standard of skilled, compassionate nursing care and symptom management to patients
Be responsible for the planning, delivering and evaluating the effectiveness of care given to patients
Provide emotional support to patient's loved ones
Maintain accurate written records of care, communicating all necessary information to other team members
Create a positive and safe environment for patients

This is a full-time position working
37.5 hours per week
on a 24/7 service which will include nights, weekends and bank holidays.
